Siva Karthikeyan’s forthcoming film Maan Karate first copy is sent to censor board and the regional board members have cleared the film with Clean U certification.

Sivakarthikeyan paired up with Hansika in this romantic comedy entertainer which is directed by Thirukumaran. Escape Artists Madan and AR Murugadoss produced the film with good production values and Anirudh composed musical score have got good response.

Maan Karate is the first summer release this year. The movie which is all set for April 4 grand scale release is expected to take good openings at the box-office.

Legend is an action entertainer movie in which, Balakrishna playing a powerful role as people’s hero. Radhika Apte and Sonal Chauhan are playing female lead roles. For the first time Jagapathi Babu playing the negative role in this movie. Boyapati Srinu directing this movie under Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara’s production banner under 14 Reels Entertainment. Devi Sri Prasad scored music for this movie. The flick is Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Radhika Apte and Sonal Chauhan in lead roles and Jagapathi Babu is playing the negative role. The film marks the second time Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu are together after blockbuster Simha. Devi Sri Prasad composes music with Balakrishna.

Except some parts of Comedy and few stretched scenes, the move came out very well . The pone line Punches has got huge response in theaters and boyapati touched the current politics which proved to be a best episode of Legend.

Coming to the Collections, No Doubt Legend is the First Blockbuster of 2104 will clearly rule the box office this summer.

If it turns true, then its not Mahesh or Ram Charan, it is 50-year-old Balayya showing his stamina.

The release date of Charmee’s upcoming film Prathighatana has been pushed to April 18. Earlier, the makers were planning to release the film on April 4th; however, Charmee has confirmed that the film will release only on April 18.

Thammareddy Bharadwaj has directed the film and it marks his comeback as a director after a long gap. The film is reportedly based on a true incident and it deals with the atrocities being committed on women. Reshma has played an important role and Charmee will be seen as a journalist who fights for justice.

Recently, the film was screened to a select few people and Charmee is extremely happy with the feedback that she has received. S Gopal Reddy is the cinematographer. Incidentally, Prathighatana is the 50th film in Charmee’s career.

Story:
Inam is an Tamil movie written, directed, filmed and produced by Santosh Sivan. The story revolves around a group of teenagers in an orphanage set during the civil war in Sri Lanka. The film premiered at the 2013 Busan International Film Festival.

Santosh Sivan later said that the film was about “a bunch of teenagers in an orphanage, and set against the backdrop of a civil strife”. One of the teenagers, the protagonist was a 16-year-old boy, Karan, with Down’s Syndrome with whom Sivan spent nine months before shooting the film.

Sugandha Ram, who acted in Tere Bin Laden before, was chosen to select the female lead. It was reported that Saritha played the role of a person who runs the orphanage. According to Sivan, the idea for the film was conceived over a Sri Lankan lunch with a friend during which they met a lady who ran an orphanage in Sri Lanka.

Sivan wanted director Stanley for a role, but cast Karunas for it since he could also sing. Karunas was said to have done a serious role unlike his usual comic self. Sivan stated, “my film is about human aspirations and emotions shattered by the war, not about the politics behind it”. He also clarified the film will have nothing to do with the LTTE.

Sivan spent months researching and getting footage for the film. He shot it in Tamil as Inam but also made the film into English for a larger audience and titled it Ceylon.
